Habay Road 2010: Everything You Need to Know!

From Saturday 30th to Monday, November 1

three stages of 40, 35 and 25 km. to connect Huy (station) in Verviers (Local scouts Cardijn).

Go :

Saturday, October 30, 8:30 am at the station of Huy. Starts at 9am.

can get there by train if from Verviers to 7:17, arriving at 08:12 AM in Huy). For any request for carpooling, please send us an email with your address and place of departure.

Back Monday, November 1 at local Cardijn (floor Heusy of Verviers, in the Ecole Saint-Joseph); arrival time will depend of course on the pace of the marchers but should be around 16h-17h.


PAF :

€ 25 payable on the account 860-1021028-85 for Sunday, October 24 at the latest. Time: "+ name + first unit / group.

In case of payment in cash on departure day, 30 €.


Directions:

Stage 1 (Saturday, October 30): Huy (station) to Warre (Durbuy)
second stage (Sunday, October 31): Warre to Bronrome (Desnié)
Stage 3 (Monday, November 1): Bronrome -> Verviers (local Cardijn)

a road-book containing copies of detailed maps and directions will be given initially. If you want you get the detailed maps in color, here is the list of cards crossings:

Relay:

Three posts will mark the route. Snacks and drinks are provided at positions 1 and 3, Lunch is distributed to station 2. A hot meal waiting for you upon arrival.

Cookie in your bag a bowl, a bowl of soup for lunch, a cup to quench your thirst and cutlery for spreading the mayonnaise.


Briefly:
- Item 1: coffee, bread, waffles, fruit, water, orange juice, ...
- Item 2: soup + sandwich
- Item 3: bread, waffles, fruit, water, orange juice, ...


Luggage:

A large bag (not 2, let alone 5) it does not and will include: sleeping bag, mattresses, toiletries, sweater ...
As is true of walkers, we camped in tents. On arrival, a bar with refreshments bubble prices than democratic.

A small bag that door when walking with: energy drinks, "gougouilles" for the road, flashlight, jumper fluorescent, raingear, personal pharmacy with Compeed, spare socks, plastic liner to protect cards in case of rain ... And above all: bowl, dish (plate) cutlery and cup.
