Belkessam Aziz arrived in France in 2002 to finish his studies at the University of Provence Marseilles.
He has a degree in biology.
He lives in the Cote des Roses for over three years but he has discovered the Annex to the library last fall. He used to frequent the downtown with his wife and when he finally entered, he became aware of the schedule located in the neighborhood center.
His wife has a diploma in food, she reads a lot and access to the Bible is good: they recently wanted to buy a book and found that the library had already radius.
Belkessam When Aziz arrived in Thionville he first worked at the hospital Bel-Air in a department of health and safety, but for financial reasons, he chose work in a security company as a security guard until 2009.
Today it is thirty-one years and finds himself unemployed . Aziz can not long remain unemployed, he did not want to be treated as a social case. When you come from the Maghreb and that becomes unemployed "is paying its race." It does not want the image of "the Arab who does nothing."
Aziz hails from Bouïra in Kabylia. His neighborhood is as big as the coastline of roses and everyone knows each other. Respect of course, a big brother going down the street and his presence is enough to calm the children. There is real solidarity and naturally each day the common peace. Harmony is a matter of intelligence. Here in France, between different communities is not always clear which side it wrong but he who is intelligent accepts difference.
For example, bad boys, no one gives importance: their track gives precisely the importance they want and this reinforces their inclinations. When Aziz sees a young evil act he recalls that his father is a good man and that word is enough to alleviate the situation.
people have everything and yet it is never enough: the true wealth is to know how to manage his personal life compared to others. Whoever is found naturally as a plant that grows where it is. If you're not too selfish you have your part in life. Aziz's father was a simple fellah. He was tortured during the Revolutionary War and received no compensation for his suffering. He never asked for anything but life has given him seven son who were all graduates and at his death, he was truly respected in the country. If a man does good, his children will find an open door one day.
Do not always wait on the others but being able to defend his ideas, do not be greedy but just and does not accept living under inhumane conditions. The former sometimes said "oh it's cheap," but what is cheap goes around comes around: you have to pay just to be equal to the life you want.
Currently Aziz is unemployed but still worthy. Whoever has a good heart eventually succeed. In Algeria, as here is getting better little by little, everyone eats, and in fact we work and contributing to others, work against poverty. Change is good, if one knows its value.
since this interview, Aziz Belkessam found a job in Luxembourg.
